Setting the graph's zoom level

You can use the graph's Zoom menu to zoom in and out on the scene graph:

Full Size shows the Scene Graph at its full size - i.e. the nodes are the same size as they appear in the Node Panel:

Intermediate shows the Scene Graph at a smaller size:

Global ensures the entire Scene Graph is visible:

The Zoom menu also has options to zoom Out and In.

: Note that if your graph is already entirely visible at the intermediate zoom level, it won't get any smaller if you zoom out to the global zoom level.

You can use the Pan tool or the scrollbars to move your view around the graph (see The Scene Graph toolkit). Boxes in the Intermediate and Global views help you in this:

A blue box shows what will be visible if you choose Full Size again.

A gray box shows what will be visible if you choose Intermediate Size

Pan until the relevant box shows the portion of the Scene Graph that you wish to view, and then zoom in again.

Remember you can also resize the Scene Graph window.
